Guest guest
Ok, I know that swelling in the wrist can and did cause carpal tunnel for me I know what the symptoms are, and how it feels in my hands when the nerves are being pinched. I haven't had any problems with that for quite a few months. But, I have been having pain in my under arm area that is causing the same symptoms in my hands. I know the nerves to the hands come from that area too. Does swelling in the shoulder area affect those nerves like it does in your wrists? Could that be the cause of the pain and symptoms in my hands and under arm area? I can't see swelling in my shoulders, but I do have some pain when I move my arms up over my head in certain ways. Maybe I'm not taking enough Prednisone. I am only taking 5 mg a day, but at first my doctor had me take 10 mg for about 3 days to give me a good start at feeling better. He did say it would take a couple of weeks to start feeling better. Am I just expecting too much? I think I need a pity party today. Good thing the sun is shining, or i could really be grumpy!
