Guest guest
Kathi, Thanks for your offer of a leg to get a " break " . Unfortunately, already have that! You gotta keep a sense of humor once you get off the pity potty, which I think I have done for right now. But tomorrow is always another day and in some cases, a new problem or diagnosis! I must say this disease does keep us all on our toes! Well, it is noon here on the east coast, so the kids are starting to arrive....no rest for the wicked! Have a safe and happy holiday and will talk to you soon! Gentle, tender, patriotic angel hugs, Debs in FL
Guest guest
Kathi, It took at least 90 days for the mtx to kick in for me. I was allowed to stay on a maintenance dose of prednisone (for me it was 10 mg) till it did, then I decreased the prednisone, 1 mg. at a time till I was ready to finally go off it. I'm sorry you felt so good then felt so rotten. How long now have you been taking the mtx? Will you doctor let you add the prednisone back in for a while longer?? Suzanne >I have felt > so good for two weeks and been ful of pi** and vinegar and then > Tuesday came crashing down two days after the last prednisone dose.... > I was so hoping it was the MTX that was making me feel good but I was > wishful thinking.....they told me it would take about 90 days for it > to work and the pred would get me there
