Debs in Fl. Just checking in to hear how your forced bedrest is doing. Has the

pain gotten any better with the immobilizer? I sure do hope so. I want to say

that some prayers are being said for you. Also the cabana boys better be waiting

on you hand and foot!

Well, the Dr's appt was, interesting? To say the least. Seems I'm bone-on-bone and will need a total knee replacement. Meanwhile he injected a shot of cortisone into the knee (Ok now those of you on the CRAB drugs don't you dare shudder! You go through Much worse!) I feel 100% better thday. He said he does not know how long it will last, and and the next step will be some injections that will be given once a week for 5 weeks, and I think at that point, when that wears off, I'll need to become Bionic like n. Could be years though....funny thing is he said I'm really too young for it. Seems it is all related to Arthritis. I'm riddled with it. I know I was called "The Crystal Lady" for years, even had a shop with that name, but I really *don't* want to turn to stone!!! I have bone spurs on top of my bone spurs...my cartilage is turning to bone.

But today for today I am feeling better and might even be able to go upstairs and tuck my son in tonight.

Peace and Blessings

Ask him if he knows anything about Bio-engineered tendons and ligaments and ask

him if that procedure could be done instead of a knee replacement. Do a search

on Bio-engineered tendons.
