I am not sure what he meant by " sub-clinical " but I do know that

transient arthritis (arthritis caused by viral, bacterial or fungal

infections...from the flu to parvo-virus) is temporary and lasts for

weeks up to several months. So when I went to the Rheum first he

said that I had arthritis but to wait for a couple of months to see

if it would go away by itself (he also took some viral screens from

my blood) b/c it didn't go away and he found nothing in my blood...he

diagnosed me with RA.

Your Dr will probably do the same.

Good luck and feel better!

Stef
