Guest guest
Good Morning, Do any of you have the reverse of the " early morning stiffness? " I seem better in the morning, but the hand and foot pain is horrible late afternoons and evenings. Sheree
Guest guest
Hi Sheree, I don't know of any medical condition like that. However, I do know from personal experience and from what the medical field has told me. As the body relaxes from the days activities, your pain will become more noticeable just from the mere " winding down " process. On some days, I need minimal pain medication in the morning, only to be almost " screaming " in the evening. My docs say that this is normal and I should save some of the days medications to be taken during those evening hours. I hope this helps a little bit. Have a safe and happy holiday! Guest guest
Both.......... I guess I may confuse stiffness with pain...The pain is much worse at night...bad enough to make me cry.

Guest guest
Kathy, I'm so sorry you're having such pain. Just in time for the holiday weekend, too! Isn't that always the way??? You'll be in my thoughts and prayers. Guest guest
Hi Sheree. Pain and stiffness that get worse after using an affected joint sound more like osteoarthritis. But I¹ve had days were I¹ve gotten up feeling good but as the day goes on I get more and more pain and stiffness. Do you EVER have morning stiffness or is it always after using it? a > Good Morning, > Do any of you have the reverse of the " early morning stiffness? Guest guest
I hope your doctor is treating your pain. Pain meds do help. Please let your doctor know how bad the pain is. Sorry you¹re hurting. I hope you feel better. a > Both.......... > I guess I may confuse stiffness with pain...The pain is much worse at > night...bad enough to make me cry. > > >
Guest guest
Hello.. i would hope that you are taking something for the pain at night or at least taking something to sleep.. i was put on imovane to put me to sleep as the painkillers are hard on my system while taking the doxycycline...but i know i am guaranteed 6 hours of sleep on the imovane...it is a suggestion so that you can get away from the pain and let your body recuperate overnight...i would talk with my doctor and tell him you are not coping well and that you need something to help you get your life back to some degree... regards sam Re: [ ] What a weekend > Both.......... > I guess I may confuse stiffness with pain...The pain is much worse at > night...bad enough to make me cry. > > >
Guest guest
my foot dr said he would do the surgery on my foot after my parents party. he says he thinks my condition will just present another problem. he has seen me get more depressed as time goes on. he asked if i wqas happy with my rheumatologist. i said yes. he asked what i was doing for my mental health. i told him buspar and counseling and he falls asleep on me all the time. my life is so exciting. he asked me to call him on tuesday to remind him to call his psychologist friend to see if he will see me on assignment as i have no money. he wrote me a script for loratab and from what i have read online it is vicodin? then i can't take it. i don't want to puke on top of everything else. my parents are packed and ready to leave in the morning. so they shall be here sunday afternoon. my mom said my sister wants to take me camping. that a change of scenery would do me some good. i don't want to sit in a small hot camper and run a fever. no thanks. seems to happen everyday and this last one has seemed to last for 3 days. the highest is 100. but i'm out of kleenex, and down to the last roll of paper towels. no cash for 3-4 weeks. so i'd better stop crying. it doesn't help but i just can't seem to stop. the foot therapist says he thinks the water therapy has sent me yet again into another flare. kathy in il
Guest guest
Hi, Kathy. I'm sorry that you are feeling so down. Yes, Lortab is acetaminophen and hydrocodone as is Vicodin: http://www.drugs.com/xq/cfm/pageID_0/htm_D03428A1.htm/bn_Lortab/qx/index.htm Did you ever try starting with a small dose and working your way up? That helps me better tolerate hydrocodone. That's what I usually am given by my dentist for anything really painful that comes up. Every time you talk about your foot doctor, I like the sounds of him. He really cares, doesn't he? I hope his friend can help you. I think it's a good idea to wait for your surgery. You want to enjoy your parents' anniversary. That's horrible about your current counselor. Don't go back! I hope your visit with your family goes very well. Rest when you need to and don't be afraid to say " no, thanks. Guest guest
i do like my foot dr. i have had some problems with him. i guess he was having marital problems before and would be late or not show at all (like the day of my surgery!!) my mom doesn't like him. she says he's arrogant, but i feel he truly does care about me and my well being. it doesn't seem that i have been enjoying much of anything lately. although i haven't cried yet today. but it is still early!!! my parents should be on the road now. i know i've really got them worried now. kinda scaring myself too. my tummy is kinda upset today. blah. i told my son he would have to stay home tonight. the people we have been dog sitting for should be here about 10pm. better late than make them suffer any longer than they have to. so mine gets rid of this one tonight and my parents will be at my sisters tomorrow. my sister got a new dog a pretty girl. she also has a boy and my moms is a boy. but we are unsure if they will all get along. wouldn't surprise me if i have to take my moms home with me!!! kathy in il
