Guest guest
I am lucky. I live in a small town. I was recently hospitalized with pneumonia. At the time I had no insurance. they kept me in for a week before sending me home. The next time you are treated like that just ask them if they would like the problems that would go along with you being released too early and having complications. They could be sued. Guest guest
<< It made me sicker to think I was getting the bum's rush. (and I had insurance) Also all I heard was- " the insurance isn't going to pay " >> Louise, they do knee replacement surgery on an outpatient basis??? I would think that would be 3 or 4 days in the hospital! Hugs, Carol [ ] Hospitalization brevity I was glad to hear about several of your experiences with hospitals. I had the same experience when I had my knees replaced. From the moment you wake up from the anesthesia they start to bug you about " When are you going to go Home? " I had never in my 50 years had to have more than an overnight stay in the hospital. It made me sicker to think I was getting the bum's rush. (and I had insurance) Also all I heard was- " the insurance isn't going to pay " This never from my surgeon it was from the hospital staff. ly I was astounded at the condition of American medicine.
