Guest guest
Anita, British sign language and American sign language are totally different. We also have Makaton and, I think less commonly, signalong which are less complicated than BSL for people with learning difficulties. Presumably now that you’ve started with ASL you want to continue with it. if you’re ok to swap to Makaton, I recommend the BBC Something Special videos and ‘sing and sign’ videos too. Again! Does anyone have a signing book they're not using anymore that I could buy? Our former aide stole ours, along with $140 and ds's car seat. Ugh. I believe we were using the American sign language book. I'm not sure that makes a difference. Thanks, Anita
Guest guest
Ahhh. Thanks for this Sara. I guess I'll have to order a book from Canada. I didn't realize they'd be so different.
