I accidentally put Jamal's toppost through, so that's why I wrote the note, to remind him and other readers. As an alternative, you can just click on the post if you're reading on the website, and the thread appears, and you can see it in context. Hmmm....that seems backwards to me. I'm so accustomed to emails, where the new stuff is the post, and the previous comment is underneath it, for the benefit of those who need a refresher. That way we don't have to scroll through a bunch of stuff we've already read, and try to sift out what the new comment is. But that does explain why I keep getting what look like blank messages from people - if their comments are way at the bottom of the post! Guest guest
Yes, it's called bottomposting, and it's in the style of a Q & A. When you joined, you received an email with our guidelines, and the instructions were in there. Actually, the educational groups think it's quite forward-thinking, not backwards. Okay, I've just never encountered it before, so it'll likely take me a bit to get used to it and remember to cut and paste the previous stuff above, and to remember to scroll down to the newest message! But I'l certainly make an effort! Yes - but normally you leave some indication ( " or >) so readers know where the quote leaves off and the reply begins. It's been the standard for internet discussion groups since they were " invented " . Sue

I wish I could go! The 2k price tag was too much for me this time around, as I just dropped that much on b-school. But next year.... -

I say this because the place is so full of cigarette smoke I don't know how anyone will be able to smell a thing! You'll probably just eat on site because you are in the middle of what we in CT fondly call " no-freaking-where " . It is a cool place though...everyone should see it at least once. The other Indian Tribe casino is nearby, too - Mohegan Sun. Have fun... Sue from Glastonbury, CT

In the past we chose Cannes, France, as we could have side trips to Grasse, the fields and visits of the factories. This event was delegated to Allured due to reasons I will not elaborate on. I do not think any perfumers visited the CT location. In any event, it's a perk for our overseas colleagues to see the US and the NY Metro area, rather than the same old fields. I think they should have aimed for the fall foliage season, but hey!, what do I know. Cheers, -= =-
