nne- I agree with June. I have had more than one on

my elbows- common place. Have not had them removed. I

have gotten so I am fond of ballet (3/4) length sleeves

to hide. LOL Often docs look at them- and even use the

nodules to diagnose- they are pretty rare in other than

RA. Probably why he is paying attention. They are pretty

benign. I have had nodule removed from big toe joint- a

little trickier- a plastic surgeon did that- but healing

process was pretty quick. My doc was worried it would

break open because of fluid- and become infected. I was

worried about shoes fitting.

Speaking of which- with this hot weather- is anyone else

having major edema in feet ankles and toes....mine

barely resemble human feet and ankles they are so

swollen. Hard to find shoes to wear in am for work. Any

tips on how you deal with this??

Hi all, Yes, that nodule isn't pretty. I've been having major trouble today

with pain. Does the humidity do this?

nne, I read that humidity is a factor in RA. I live in humid Florida,

and when I was in Denver last month I was surprised at how good I felt.

Hope you feel better soon!

Hugs,

Carol

Fancy name for air pollution. Common in big cities.

,

I talk to Pat quite often. We used to email every day, but now we¹ve gotten

lazy

and pick up the phone :) I love Pat like a sister. She is one very special

lady. I

never give up hoping that one day she will be well enough to come back to

us.

For all the members that don¹t know who Pat is, Pat is a moderator that has

been with

this list since it¹s inception. After back surgery, Pat suffered a spinal

stroke and was paralyzed

from the waist down. They told her she would never walk again. Pat is a

survivor and a fighter

and she fought hard and is winning. She is able to walk with the help of a

walker and can even

go for short walks with just a cane.

She still works full time, which is why she can¹t be here. Throughout all

of this, she continued working.

She is lucky that her work is done from her home, and with modifications she

has been able to

continue working. But her work takes all her energy, so she has no time

for anything but work.

I will tell her you were asking for her . Glad the site gave you some

good tips.
