Sondra it is pretty common for kitties to keep throwing up for a while

after you start giving them the hairball medicine. You'll need to keep giving

it to her until the hairball comes up. When she finally throws up the

hairball, then she'll stop throwing up the food.

The throwing up may actually get worse for a day or so until the hairball

comes up. If she's making a mess all over the house, could you keep her in

an enclosed room with a cleanable floor until she's done?

I'm afraid this is much more likely in cats with longish fur. Both of my

cats who have hairballs are the ones with longer fur. The more you brush

her, the less this will happen. Sorry, I should have mentioned that earlier!
