>> Carol, the sun flare sounds terrible, it also sounds like you

might have over done. It is hard to say no especially when the

others don't have RA and don't understand what it can do to you. I

am also on Methotrexate and so far have not had any problem with the

sun but have been trying to be careful, which is not always easy.

Hope you get to feeling better really soon. Isn't this disease fun?

Right!

Hi Carol...I was in the sun (partially shaded) about 20 minutes for a

picnic on Mother'sDay and my hands got swollen & red, got a rash on my

face, achey, feverish, irritable bowell etc. etc. Years ago they said I

had " sero-negative lupus " but have sinced changed the dx to RA. A short

round of prednisone helped. It's funny, cause I'm sure I've been in &

out of the sun at other times with not so much reaction. Maybe it

depends where we are in the disease process, or if we're already a bit

flared. Just more questions about this perplexing set of disorders.

Get some rest & take good care.

Love & Hugs...

Tess
