We've got the heat wave here in southern Quebec as well. Like you, the humidity

really adds to my swelling so I'm not very comfortable either. I hear it will

pass after tomorrow. Let's hope that's true.

hi there......living in manitoba but i heard about your weather..it is what

we just had..humidex of 46 degrees...yes it affected my body awfully but i

have learned on those days to limit activities and to take a pain killer at

dinner time to take the edge off..

but i know you are also under a smog advisory which we dont get in

manitoba..

i got a dehumidifier to try take some of the humidity out of the room i

sleep in...empty the water container every day now...

and the drop in barometic presssure adds to the pain..

it is going to hit us again tomorrow and continue on for a bit......pretty

extreme isnt it

Hi sam..yes it's quite unusual for this time of year here. I think we had a

record high yesterday. I don't miss the before dinner pain killer either..it's a

real must in all this humidity I find. The smog advisory is scary especially for

the very young and old. Breathing becomes difficult for those with respiratory

problems as well. I'm glad you weren't subject to that at least! I keep hearing

that it's supposed to ease by Friday but I have my doubts. Heat is my least

favourite weather..how about you? I guess we aren't cut out for summer heat.
