Hello all!

I'm happy to report that I've been home for a few days, and doing ok,so far. I

saw my Internal medicine MD yesterday, and had a CBC done. My WBC count remains a

bit low,but my neutrophile count is just ok. But the counts have remained

stable, and I just need to be happy about it. I'm currently on 40mg of

prednisone, and will start a slow taper today. I'm restarting Enbrel this week.

I'm feeling good enough to start getting myself in trouble! My left hip,and SI

joints are still pretty painful.Darya and I are going to have a quiet Christmas

at home. The roads in Seattle are still a mess. So we figured we'd just stay

home and avoid the idiots.

Has anybody else had problems with their WBC counts being low? Is anybody

currently on Actemra( IL-6 receptor antagonist)? And when is it expected to be

approved in the US? The FDA takes so freaking long to approve things, sometimes!

I think Darya and I are going to take the dogs out in the snow and make some

snowmen. I haven't done that in a very long time. I'm having cabin

fever, bigtime! When I have too much time to think about things,I have a tendency

to get depressed.

Wishing you all a warm and comfortable day,and Merry Christmas.j

Love,

Nissa
