Guest guest
Hi VIVI Thank you for remembering I was going! I went and the Dr. there was real nice...just asked me questions mainly on when did the Stills start, what medicines I was on ( I brought them all in a bag). He asked how long my feet were swollen for, how long and when I was in the hospital since the onset of Stills, he had me lay on the table and saw my belly full of black and blue marks and asked about them ( from the heparin shots in the hospital the first time in May) ..he asked how long the rash would be there...all the while writing things down, and that was basically it..he said he is writing a good letter for me and hopefully it will help me. It is not up to him to decide, he just writes an observation - probably to see if my Rheumy was telling the same thing as he sees...and he said my Rheumy wrote a nice letter for me too.  He helped me out and said maybe I should use a walker or a cane.  hmmmmmm  I am trying so hard to get back to normal (whatever that is).  It took about an hour and that was all...He then sends these papers back to disability and they have a group who decides after reading all of it...I was told I should know by the end of July. Will let you know!!  Keep your fingers crossed...ooops, on second thought, don't do that,,how painful!..just say a prayer Diane..42 Please let us know sa soon as you can how the appmt. for your disability went.
