Guest guest
Hi Friends, Marty I don't like to say I told you so,but well I told you so. LOL I knew your daughter would some day see the light.I've had a little experience with teens, had 3 at a time FUN!I actually kept a letter my daughter sent me after she got married and moved to California. She said she had to be away from us to see the big picture and she was so happy we were her parents, and thanked us for everything! Ok that was good for about 3 days of crying. She is my only girl and we had talks on my bed almost every night, which we both missed.Oh and by the way,she and her hubby celebrated their 20th anniversary yesterday! I am having really bad pain which started 2 weeks ago last Saturday. It has now localized in my right hip and my knees are very painful from over compensating for my hips.I refuse to take more than 5 Vicodin a day and nothing not even the muscle relaxers aren't helping.I foolishly cancelled my appt. for yesterday because for one day it felt better.I am doing nothing that I have to bend to do ,and no vacuuming changing beds etc.It is Summer and I can't swim,it's making me crazy,so if you could send some kind thoughts or prayers my way I would sure appreciate it. I have another foggy brain story. The day after my Bill came home from Nam,we took 10month old brooke with us shopping. We parked and got out and I said where's the baby and he says what baby? You guessed in the car.He never did that again! Also we had some party to go to and I needed nylons, and were at my neighbors, so I was stuck taking my filthy baby in a diaper and t-shirt with me.I can't believe how nasty he looked. well I put him on the floor near the rack I was looking at and I heard a woman say " oh my GOD whose dirty baby is this? " That was kind of rude of her any way, but I said gee I don't know, but I sure wish his mom would come and get him! When she left I picked him up and ran to my car. What a great mom huh!I am sure we've all done similar things in our lives (well maybe not that store thing) but somehow they still manage to grow up and still love us. love Elly
Guest guest
Elly yes you did tell me so and so did others but now we all will see what happens down the road. I do not hold out for any thing but what i have had being I have no trust in my daughter to fallow up on her words so for me Acton's are what matters. Harsh but true I hate to say now story time . I will never forget the day my ex was talking with her friend at an park ( great America at the time now 6 flags) any hoot she flat out was ignoring our son so he reached up and pulled her pants zipper down and then started to pull her pants down I laughed my butt off. well he got her back for when is was even smaller and she zipped him up in his pants LOL. with mom and I a story is how I was struggling in school badly and she was trying to help me well it was not a good thing and she lost it with me and said are you sure your mine as you seam to be not as smart as any other in the family or some thing like that. well I am a real smart butt and with out a second going by I fired right back I am not i am just a fast for getter . we still get a kick out of that . as for foggy brain well this may not be that but my dad on family trips seamed to leave on of us behind every now and then . my sister ,his mother in law (accidental?) LOL mom and he even lost his one granddaughter one time . he always said it was not him but we never let him forget that it was and it was because he was so so so old then ( ya right he was about my age I am now . now what was I saying o never mind LOL the rednecks Marty & G. the redneck's my space http://www.myspace.com/martyg58 Stills ; An illness I know to well!
