Hey Bob,

I was in the hospital 3x in May and I did the 2nd time give the brochure to the

Dr. that was there for me in E.R..I also carry them in my car..you never

know.....Now some more good news!!.....

I go to a place called ''Family Practice''...they have Interns in the facility

and Residents and Dr.'s who graduated.

When I was in the hospital the first time, a Dr. K.... came in and was talking

to me and asked me if I could do her a big favor...I said anything if you get me

well...She was talking about how she is in her 3rd year..blah blah blah and has

to do something about ''diseases''..and ''Grand Rounds'' and a presentation of

some sort and asked if she could do it on............

Still's Disease!!!!  She said it is so rare and she is really interested in my

case!!  I said 'of course' and told her how I have this brochure and pictures

of the disease and that we have the web site and everything...she was really

interested and we have to do like this interview thingy in a few months in front

of other Dr.s...sooooooo, maybe this will help to get Still's known a bit

more....ok, that is all

Dad Himes:

I Have to add this to your note about taking brochures to hospitals and E.R.'s

across our country and many others:

As a medical coder and biller, " Still's Disease "  is listed under the codes as

part of t JRA family of diseases.

 So, sometimes it is not clear and that is how I have had many doctors raise an

 eyebrow to say, just call it JRA instead and I refuse, because Still's isjust

exactly that Adult Onset Still's Disease and not Juvenile R.A.

If anyone is concerned about proper code for still's or anything else, please

let me know

and I will get the codes for you.

Tracilyn;

Please forward the coding to me...I am in somewhat of a hassle with one med

group now over this....oh yeah, and recently I had arguments with two seperate

sons of beeches at a neuro-quack clinic because they insisted that Still's and

RA are the SAME thing.....and they would not back down.....needless to say they

discussions became heated and I never went back!!! Like I want those idiots

picking my brain....what's left, I need all!

Thank You and Take Care!
