Info or suggestions please

Hello everyone I am Sandria I am not sure I ever posted an intro or

not. I have a 4 yr old Autistic daughter. I have received some very

distressing news from her TSS worker about her school but the most

distressing this is the fact that they allow her when she becomes

upset to go into a cubby and bang her head. I have sent a blanket and

pillow from home to comfort her at these times now that I know she is

doing this because when she is upset here she goes to cuddle with

them. My distress is that she has been doing this for how long I don't

know? My heart is breaking for her and that they did not even call me

to ask if I could give ideas to calm her. Her TSS worker also tells me

that the class workers (teacher and aids) don't do a thing for the

children they are allowed to run around stimming for the time they are

there. How can we the parents teach our children ways to self

stimulate if they are being allowed to be at there on devices at

school? I am wishing to find classes or some such thing to learn to

teach my own daughter so as to not harm her in allowing her go into

the world being helped by ignorant people that are only looking for a

pay check and not the welfare of our children. How can my child live a

full life to the best of her ability if I don't do the best that I can

for her. How can people allow her to harm herself and run amuck when

it is there job to teach them proper life skills. Sandria
