Hi Kathy,

No it was not three hours long even for wc, it wasn't that long. First

my own doctors didn't do anything. They know my limitations so we sat and

talked about it and it was filled out. They know what I can and can not do

and they were very honest. Worker Comp., well that doctor is a pig (excuse

me). They will push you to the limit. Make up raise your arms up and down,

stupid stuff. Just tell them you can't it hurts and don't do it if it does

hurt. Because, if this doctor is for the insurance company he is going to

write what he wants anyway. Don't do anything that makes you feel worse. It

only takes a short time don't worry about that. The wc doctor did the test

and than I ask my doctors to do their own test. That way I have my own proof

of what I can and can not do. Always go back to your own doctors with this

stuff. I just took all the reports from the therapist and sent them to my

attorney. They were very honest about all the pain I am in. So when we go

to court I not only have my doctors test but now I have what the therapist

said in writing. I find you have to take a lot into your own hands with this

legal stuff. My attorney tells me I am a great client. I know most people

wouldn't do all I do, they would expect the attorney to do it. But I am not

like that I like to know I have some impute and control. So far my attorney

appreciates it, I guess he would I am saving him work. But he is a very nice

man who has been very kind and generous to me. So if you are going for

insurance company go but than ask your own doctors to do the functional

capacity test. Keep copies of everything you can. I keep copies of the

stuff I even send to my attorney. Someday when this is all over I will have

a big bon fire. Hope you have a pain free week-end.
