Guest guest
Again Steve, Ask your doctor if you are seeing one and if not it may be time! I did have irregular heartbeats when on steroids years ago and my doctor suggested to ME to drink extra water BUT I consistently have irregular rhythms over the years and now take medication prescribed by my doctor. It is not something to mess around with. You need to make sure there are no other problems causing this besides medication. Good luck, _____ I've noticed now and then that I sometimes get an irregular heartbeat, has anybody else had this? Upon reading, it seems that this is a side effect of the Pred, and that increasing the intake of Potassium & Magnesium and help sort this out. Has anybody had this before? Guest guest
Hi , I've been on pred since Feb & in the last week I have had 3 episodes of an irregular heartbeat. I went to my GP today who told me that it can just be a female phenomonon but if it gets worse or episodes increase to go back and they will put a heart monitor on for 24 hours. Anyway, will see how it goes. Sorry I don't have any real answers for you. By the way, I take magnesium tablets every day.
