Guest guest
Hi, I have an 8yo who has trouble falling off to sleep. We give her melatonin occasionally ( 3mg) 45 minutes before bedtime. With it she falls to sleep very well -but it seems that the next day she is very defiant, she stims more and her focus/concentration is almost none. We can not get much school work done when she is like that. Her behavior is like a naughty toddler's (even in public). I have seen this sequence happen at least 5 times over 7 weeks and I am wondering if any of you have observed this with your own child. Have any of you heard of Melatonin causing this in someone before? I have found no other constant factors that could be to blame for the " reaction. " Thanks for any thoughts,
