Guest guest
, that's FANTASTIC that you found a knowledgeable doctor!!! especially one who communicates with you. That is rare, from what I've experienced...make the most of it! Maybe, just maybe......you'll get somewhere with this dude!!! Guest guest
Good morning ! How are you doing today? I didn't have much time yesterday to email, post or anything along that line because I had to work, but I thought about you pretty much all day. You are absolutely correct about your attitude. I've actually found that a positive outlook, no matter what my body is doing, may lessen or at least make me think the pain is less than it really is. I also feel that people around me don't have to suffer along with me. To be honest, there are some customers that should get an attitude adjustment and I'd love to give them one sometimes, but that's the nature of the beast. Keep the sunshining inside your heart! Take care and be well. Ellen
Guest guest
Good morning Ellen, I agree.. It's been a tough road for the last few years, but I have tried to keep a positive attitude most of the time. The last few months - they caught me down - to much pain, too much everything and then the rib breaking ... But I'm not going to give into this.... No matter what. I have an awesome husband, loving family and great friends. A supportive church. A loving God. Pets that take care of me. And a new family of friends that fight the same battles I do.. I figured I really can't ask for more and that if I am meant to battle this. The least I can do is do it gracefully, yet with all of my mind and body and not give in. All - we don't have to give in. We have each other. My other chronically ill friends always talked about how when one of us was down we could climb on the others shoulders and the others would carry the one that was struggling... For instance, right now, Kirk and Larry are really struggling with illness. Mark, Ella and others I haven't mentioned are also struggling I'm healing, but I have my family to stand on. I just want to remind all of these people I mentioned and anyone I didn't that they can always climb on someone's shoulders and we will help you through your tough time... It kind of reminds me of footprints in the sand (I think everyone knows of that picture/poem) - not trying to get too religious - just using an Alalogy... Anyway - I want everyone to know that I know that you have been here for me. .. and now I am here for you too... Fight the battle - hang in there.. Climb on our shoulders if you need to.. But most Imortantly, remember - one day at a time Hugs, -- Re: New doctor Good morning ! How are you doing today?
