Hi Kathy,

I too, have trouble with shoes. My feet have changed a bit in the past 6

months and I have trouble in the width and with the toes. It seems that all

of the shoes out there come to a point in the toe area. I like summer

because I just get a good pair of flip-flops and don't have to worry about it

so much. Besides, it seems like my feet get so HOT sometimes they feel like

they are on fire. I also put off taking new meds when I have a lot going on.

I would rather take a new med when I don't have anything going on for a few

days. That way I can deal with it easier if I get sick from it. I know that

this is not the best habit, but it works for me. Hope you have a quiet sleep

filled night.

Stacey,

Have you ever tried men¹s shoes? My best fitting sneakers are men¹s Nikes.

I normally can

Get a comfortable shoe in Rocports since they have wide sizes. It¹s not

easy to find comfortable

Shoes with all of our foot problems. I wish I could wear flip flops, but I

need more support.

i know how you feel stacey, usually i am in my socks or flip flops. i have

had a pair of walking shoes for over a year. well guess i finally have a new

pair. i walked about 3 blocks outside and pulled out the insoles to make my

orthodics fit better. i spent a good deal of time in the mens dept too. kathy

mushrooms were pretty comfy, but i had trouble getting them to stay on my

heel. so i bought those heel guards. the third time i put the shoes on it

came off. i was pretty upset by that, also i pulled their insole out and just

used my orthodics to give me more room and they were glued down, so now i

don't feel like i can return them. kathy in il

I've been following the shoe story closely...I haveni't had a great pair of

shoes in years...been wearing propet tennis shoes fairly comfortably with my

inserts for last two years; but alas it is time for a change...I wear flips

around the house; but not for very long...tried rocports last week, and they

couldn't get any to fit the width...i use velcro to tie with because my

hands don't tie well....hate going to work and asking a co-worker to tie my

shoes...the velcro work really well. any other suggestions??marge
