Guest guest
, Hi there, I just had to write when I saw that you raised Poms. I think they are the cutest little dog with a big personality. I know that there are a few pet owners on this list and I do think that sometimes we get concerned about taking care of them when we are having bad days. I have a 3 year old Kuvasz that is a bundle of energy, but also a big clown around the house. I hope that your knee starts to feel some relief soon. Guest guest
1. Seriphos is a proprietary variant on phosphotdytol serine (sp). In my experience it is effective. 2. Relora has been getting top billing at many of the vendors, for reducing high Cortisol, but not high DHEA. Here is what they say about themselves: " A proprietary blend of patent-pending extracts from Magnolia officinalis and Phellodendron amurense....In central nervous system receptor binding assays, the plant extracts in Relora bind to several important targets associated with anxiety. It does not bind to the benzodiazepine receptors that would cause sedation, yet has the relaxing qualities of the benzodiazepine class of drugs in a validated anxiolytic animal model. In addition, it normalizes hormone levels associated with stress-induced obesity and eating/drinking behavior. " A two-week regimen of Relora caused a significant (P = 0.003) increase in salivary DHEA (227%) and a significant (P = 0.01) decrease in morning salivary cortisol levels (37%)... A clinical trial on the final formulation of Relora is expected to be complete in 2002. To alleviate some of the debilitating " car sick " symptoms, something that has helped me a lot is good old Dramamine (Dimenhydrinate) 50 mg. When I escalate the dose it helps more. Antihistamines have a relatively low tolerance build-up. (But that's me, use your own judgment. It's just that I sometimes think " Unsafe? Compared to what? " ) BTW Dramamine is expensive in stores. I did find a very low price: # 42632 DRAMAMINE (DIMENHYDRINATE) 50 MG TABLETS 1000 $15.26 + $5.95 Shipping Total $21.22 [Yes, one thousand) Health Savers Direct, Inc. P. O. Box 8748 Columbus, GA 31908 Phone: 706-561-9052 Toll Free Order Phone: 800-477-7113 Fax: 706-568-1886 Email: hsd@... Their Web site now says " Under Construction " though. __________________________________________________
