Gail,

Mine is smack in the center of the arch of my foot, the underside of my

right foot. I had a huge one on the top of that same foot, but it was

removed. Then I sprouted them all along my Achilles tendon, which also were

removed when I had a synovectomy (removal of the synovial lining of my

ankle). All is on the same ankle and foot. They can be injected with

cortisone and sometimes they will reduce in size. Mine seems to flare but

then it shrinks to pea size and isn¹t bad enough on a regular basis to do

anything yet. But when it flares, it¹s quite large and painful, about the

size of a small grape. Lots of fun to walk on. I describe it as walking

with rocks in your shoes.

Hugs,

a

they are just marbles...others I swear they are growing to tennis ball

size...I haven't found the bes tshoes,,haven't tried the men's dept...have

worn propet tennis shoes fairly successfully for last few years (with my own

inserts) have thought about some of those float type inserts...ever try

them...good luck..sore feet are not fun...sorry for your pain...marge
