Guest guest
I never knew canes could be so stylish. What a great way to build some confidence. I think I'll have to look into these sites a little more. Thanks so much. Love and Hugs, Stacey in PA
Guest guest
Excellent ! I¹m hoping the cane lady will have something for ¹s parents. Both of them need to use a cane and neither of them will. Although they are both in their 80¹s, they don¹t want to look ³old². God bless them! My MIL had 2 bad falls last year, and still won¹t use one. I¹m hoping if I find something stylish, she will reconsider. a > " One of the proudest possessions an Early American could own was a fine > walking stick or cane. Everyone carried a cane. Guest guest
Hi everyone,I bought a new cane today. It looks like wood, brass trim at the top and a marble handle that fits the shape of my hand. While I was there I bought some little thingys to go under my foot where the bone ids dropping through and a some kind of little light that shows in the dark for the bathroom. I was asking the sales clerk about the socks and obviously she preferred to wait on a customer that was looking at scooters. After a few minutes I went up to the cash and the girl asked if there was anything else she could help me with. I said no thanks,I pointed to the clerk and said " I don't think she is very interested in making sales of small value,so I will go some place else . I am getting so cheeky in my old age LOL Hugs June
Guest guest
What do you do when you need a cane, but have weak/painful wrists? What are the alternatives? Although I don't need to use it now, I was on a cane for about six months when I had foot problems. My wrists were a real problem, due to RA. If I should have to go back to needing a cane, is there anything else I can do? I'd really rather avoid using a wheelchair if at all possible, although I did resort to using one in large stores like Lowes or the grocery - just to keep up with my husband! He is great, and rarely complains, but it was tiring for him to have to wait for me all the time! Vikki
