Guest guest
I was soooo happy to read some of the stuff some of you guys have done. I want to print it & show it to my husb. I still get teased for leaving the phone in the fridge till next day. & about baby sitting.... He's right. We just did that. We took our grand baby to lunch wt. our niece, her baby & husb. When we're walking to the car my nephew asked where's YOUR baby?? we RUNNED inside the lil' dinner where she was still sitting on the bench, looking all frazeled. We still shriver when we think about it. My niece told us... O.K how much is this info. worth it to you? . Then we get home while my niece & fam. drive away to their home 4 hrs. away & 2 hrs. later I went to get her shoes out of the diaper bag & can't find it. We left it on their vehicle! She promised to put it on ups. next day. I'm glad my kids are grown. We have to get used to having a grand baby.(It's hard when you only see her a couple times a yr.) Guest guest
Viv: There's a very tacky joke that Bette Midler does about forgetting babies. She says (and I'll clean this up for you) Sofie and Esther meet at the bus station and says, " Sofie, why is your breast hanging out of your dress? " Esther then slaps her hand to her forehead and says, " Oh no! I left the baby on the bus! " Simply put, darling, obviously you're not the only one that has done that nor will you be the last. Yes, it's frightening and worrisome but you're certainly not the only one. I'm not making light of the situation, just trying to show you that it is prevalent; so much so that there are jokes about it. OK, perhaps I've had too much medication. Somehow I don't think I'm getting my point across. I'm going to lie down after I drop my son off at his friend's house. They're going sailing today. By the way, it's happened to me as well. I almost left my son at the supermarket. My husband almost left him in the parking lot. My parents have left him alone for a few minutes with the dog at their house and my sister left him at her job once. OK, I'm going now. Take care and be well.
