Iris; I know how it can be for handicapped adults. My younger sister is

brain-damaged due to a severe car accident in the 70's.She has difficulty

walking and has problems with her speech. Along with a myriad of other problems

due to the head injury. I have seen able bodied people push her out of the way

because she did not move fast enough for them. One person got a quiet tongue

lashing from me and I hope she has never done such an evil thing to another

disabled person. This was before I developed RA. Now when I visit her and we are

both using our canes I just defy any one to say anything negative!.
