Guest guest
I think I have figured this out hopefully I have so I can keep in touch with the group. I had to go yesterday and have another bone scan, I have Ra , osteoarthritis, and am also bi-polar... Am having a time with my siatic nerve and the ra is in both sacariliac joints what a pain in the (_!_) Know what I mean. Does anyone else have this problem with the siatic nerve and if so what do you do to get relief besides meds I do that.. My pain mangment dr. wants me to ahve another ephideral , I ahd the series of 3 before and suffered teribly , so now I am kinda gun shy... I am on remicade, arava, bextra, and muscle relaxers and pain meds.. not including all I take for the bi-polar.. This is so depressing i also take predisone and have gained 45lbs. I know alot of you go through the same things. I guess I just hate the idea that I will always be this way... I am so tired of going to the dr. and never hearing any good news. some one please write me back I feel totally lost today... Also found out yesterday that my 18 year old daughter has lyme disease so of course I am worried sick over that and she lives in CT. thanx for listening.. Gentle hugs and sweet blessings. Guest guest
((((((((Kathy)))))))) I have days like that, too, where I just feel like I can't endure another day of it. I'm feeling pretty lousy today, but I really overdid it, so at least I know why. As you do, I get pain in the sacroiliac joints, but the right side is the worst (the only pain I have that is one sided). Besides the Mobic and the occasional pain meds, I use a topical analgesic (super blue stuff). It helps somewhat. When I hurt really badly, I just use ice. It helps the inflammation for me. Heat seems to make it worse. It's hard when you have loved ones for away, and something happens to them. My family is in Atlanta, and I constantly worry about them. Especially my Mom. Could you go up there or have her come to you? I know when I'm sick I usually want to be around my Mom. Or, at least until I hit 30 I did. Just a thought. Hang in there, and never hesitate to share when you need a friend. That's what we're here for. Hugs, Carol [ ] Maybe I am doing this right now I think I have figured this out hopefully I have so I can keep in touch with the group.
