Rory McGrath interview with Simon Mayo last Wednesday

I was saddened last week to hear Rory McGrath talking about his new book about birds.

On at least two occasions he referred to his book and said he had wanted to write a book that wasn't 'autistic' about birdwatching.

I have a severely autistic son and the poor woman that killed her disabled autistic son then killed herself is very much in

the news at the moment.

Obviously none of you, least of all Rory McGrath have any idea about w hat it is like

to live with autism.

Why on earth didnt Simon Mayo stop him, did he not think it was a problem either?

.. Rory McGrath is obviously a total insensitive ignorant bufoon.

You wouldnt go around saying i didnt want to write a Spazzy book what the hell is going on?

I listenin to Simon Mayo everyday on the way to pick up my autistic son from his school - I was most upset by this.
