I just finished The Book of Lost Fragrances. M.J. Rose, the author did quite a

bit of research for the book and talks about it in the back of the book.

There's a really neat tie-in with reincarnation and a special memory perfume

that Cleopatra was having her perfumer work on. Goes back and forth between a

number of lifetimes and the present. I really enjoyed it but I would have liked

more on the perfumery aspect. But then I should have read a non-fiction perfume

book then, shouldn't I? Anyway, a number of my favorite subjects all in one

book. I savored it.

In my opinion,

love the earth, love yourself, love your perfume
