My son celebrated his 9th birthday at Katy Miniature Golf and Batting Cages

on Mason Road. They have birthday party packages or if you don't have a big

group 18 holes cost $6.00 including tax per child and the batting cages cost

$1.00 per 12 balls. There's also an inflatable zone next door and bungy

jumping/trampoline activity $7.00 per session. There were 9 kids total and they

all

had a lot of fun (before the weather got searing hot outside).

There's also Bounce U, Monkey Bizness, Laserquest, Zuma, bowling parties,

painting places like purple glaze and the mad potter. They all  seem to be

popular for 10 year olds. My kiddo is 12 and he likes them all.

We've had birthday parties doing rockclimbing (http://texasrockgym.com/

gymnastics parties. If you do not have a pool at your house you could

have a swim birthday party at one of the local swim clubs. We attended

one at FINS. We had the use of the indoor pool for 2 hours including

You should check out Discovery Green.  It is open and outside.  My daughter with

Autism loved it when we went.  There is water to play in and a really cool

playground.  Also there is huge pound and lots of runnung space.  it is across

from the GRB.

well he does not play like a 10 year old he is at a 4-6 level so thats why it's

hard to find stuff to do he love all kinds of stuff but he is to old for them so

now it trying to find thing he will enjoy at his level but still have fun.

Another place is KID JAMS in Bellaire on South Rice. They have inflatables, Wii

games for those who don't socialize so much and karaoke music with videos

playing, a person to lead the party, a foosball machine and they do classes

there- go to their website to see what they offer. You can even go to try it out

to see if it is your child's thing. They have a party room as well. My nephew

(7) had his party there and his 3 year old brother bounched, tried to sing

karaoke and stood on a chair and learned to play foosball. It can get a bit

noisy with all the excitement.

 

Personally, the noise is loud at most places for many kids, so I really like the

painting places. You can do a hand print on a tile or pick items for them to

paint any way they want and they will serve your cake or pizza or whatever and

clean up and all you do it enjoy your child and take photos. We do mad potter

every few months. We have foot and handprints for both kids from 6 months and up

all on the wall of their bathroom. My n/t child loves to make the cup cake and

ice cream cone shaped jewelry boxes. My 12 year old loves to make the animals.

They are ready in a little over a week or 2 and you deliver to the guests- they

wrap them for you- or your guests can pick them up themselves.
