Guest guest
Okay.. I didn't realize trying to get people excited about a raw milk petition would turn into continuous arguments and attacks. I'm not sure how many of the people on this group that ***haven't yet commented*** appreciate receiving a bunch of extra group mails that consist of irrelevant messages (ex: nasty posts) which could be exchanged through individual e-mails if they choose too. I'm not crazy about having to sift through all of the " junk " e-mails to get legitimate information. This group is getting so heated. There's a time and a place for everything.. I'm just not sure every single person on this yahoo group enjoys this negativity. I'm trying to say this as rationally as I can without taking sides (this message goes out to everyone) because we can all just agree to disagree without having to get so angry at each other. ~
Guest guest
.....your right , and I apologize. I have been attacked by " PETA type people " on several sights and venting on this one because its the only sight where I am not completely out numbered...its not constructive and we all need to move on. I'm very sorry and thanks for calling me on it. ~Arlene > > Okay.. I didn't realize trying to get people excited about a raw milk petition would turn into continuous arguments and attacks. Guest guest
I'm sorry Arlene ! I appreciate your willingness to apologize but I sincerely didn't intend to single you out personally. I was just trying to find the most recent message on the topic to voice my concerns. It was meant for the whole group. I can understand everyone's frustrations with certain subjects.. esp. when a person's passionately against or for something. I was just worried that the whole matter (with everyone) was getting out of hand. I hope everyone's enjoying the rest of the day ! ~ > > ....your right , and I apologize. Guest guest
Oh, okay. I was a little confused and thought it was about the raw milk petition. But regardless of the topic, it was rough sifting through some of the messages though. I don't have a problem with a healthy debate.. people should be allowed to voice their opinions but when people start name calling.. I think whatever relevant issues they raise tends to be negated and the focus goes to the names people throw out. Some topics may be a little more touchy than others.. but sometimes name calling doesn't help win any favors on anyone's part, because whoever name calls may not only offend the person it was intended for.. but it may offend every other member of the group when people in the group start calling each other offensive things. ~ > > , > > I think there were 2 suggested petitions. > > One was for legalizing raw milk, which I signed. > > And, the other was for mandatory spay and neuter laws, which I objected > to. Guest guest
Hey, I know you were not singling me out, but you were right and I was getting carried away, and I honestly appreciate that you could wake me up without bashing me..I needed a little wake up call...we're all good !   ~Arlene                               Live               " simply "                 so that              others may                 simply                 Live Arlene
Guest guest
Is there a petition to legalize raw milk somewhere? I live inKansas where it is leagal to sell off farm, that is all though.I would like to deliver. They will work to heal it…they will be known as 'Warriors of the Rainbow'."Cree prophecy~ Ideal home: minimum 2 bedroom, secluded, sets far back from the road, off-grid, straw-bale, natural construction, rammed earth, log cabin, and earthship. Square footage below 3,000 with wide open floor plans. Any more is hard for me to keep clean.Land in the Country: private, acreage (for meat goat ranching mainly and practicing permaculture gardening), partial forested (brushy as goats prefer to eat plants with leaves instead of grass), elevation appreciated (maybe on a mountain that is classified as un-farmable), fresh water source (stream, creek, river, well) no industry, no agriculture (close by) in the area, no irrigation or flat land needed, wineries and alternative schools are welcomed. We will entertain any home business especially farm/ranch based. If all else fails we want a (small, cheap) 2 bedroom with water or well possible with several acres and will build our dream house for family of 3, so far. Price is not to exceed 1 million. Guest guest
Hi Debbie, Who don't you agree with? You replied with two group member's previous comments below yours so I'm a bit confused. All I've been saying in my messages is that I have no problem with debates but I do have a problem with the whole name calling and verbal attacks from group members to each other through this group. Name calling and attacks at group members isn't going to help you with your problems with the government. There's a difference. If you speak up.. then that's fine.. you may be heard.. but your message won't mean as much if you name call and it diminishes the value of your words and makes a person pay more attention to the insults when you really want them to pay attention to your legitimate message. Some of the names may be offensive to other group members who haven't been part of the debate but kept getting flooded with postings that had more insults than legitimate info. I'm not taking sides. I'm considered a " city slicker " and this is a good point. I find what you just said offensive even though it wasn't a personal attack at me. That's what I mean about what you say about people in general. I won't name call and don't appreciate when people do especially if you don't think about those you might be offending who are innocent bystanders. It's different when you say things about an organization than when you lump people together and label them even though you don't know all of them before making assumptions. I can't believe how much this debate is stretching when I was hoping to cool things down a bit to make it fair for all of the members of this group. ~ > >> > >> Okay.. Guest guest
Thank you for that Bill. I appreciate it and I really do get how frustrating it can be. Yes the truth can be offensive. I won't argue with that. I've found some appalling information regarding some organizations. I just try to do my own research and fight it (if possible) by what I choose to buy and/or fund. There's corruption everywhere. It is important to get a point across, esp. if you have some info you want to share with others to ensure that people don't blindly follow whatever they believe in. I think that's honorable and I'm sure everyone has good intentions. It's insane how things like that even happen. I'm not opposed to people who feel angered at organizations or the government. I do feel that debates can be healthy. Everyone should try to find a way to fight for what they believe in if something is affecting them. I'm all for them ! As long as it's not taken to a (negative) personal level with each other.. that's when things get out of control. So I don't want anyone here holding back on my account except to be mindful of things like negative stereotypes/prejudices (sayings/phrases) about groups of people based on their: age/weight/height/appearance/religion/race/where they were raised. These things don't define our character or how we behave & yet it's still used to describe certain people in general. I think we're all the same and intend to teach my daughter and unborn child that. We're already divided into us vs. them (government/organizations/ect.) . It doesn't help for us to divide ourselves from each other too.. The best way to fight a good fight is to try to work together. ~ > > Hi , > Since I offended you are any other person personally with what I've said on this website I do truly apologize.  It was not my intent to insult or lam-bast anyone.  Apparently I did not represent my thoughts clearly. What offends me are other peoples ideas that have hidden agendas to take away the freedoms that we so dearly hold. If this were not the case we wouldn't even need a website like this. It was never my intentions to offend but sometimes the truth is offensive and I don't apologize for that.  In the future I will be more careful. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. >  >
