Kathy,

I too wear these shoes. They are great for your back and you custom design

the soles just by walking in them. They are not beautiful shoes, but with

the right outfit, they are fine. You also usually get the buckles across the

instep that allows you to make them as wide as you need to. I am just sorry

that I am not the same kind of bargain shopper that Carol is. I bought mine

from QVC. Even at retail price, they are well worth it. Another brand to

think about is s Footwear. It is the same concept as Birkenstocks.

thanks carol. maybe next time i need shoes. i had my functional capacity

test today. my last several jobs involved computers and swichboard. today i

got to walk on the treadmill, uphill downhill. do the range of motion exam.

grip test pinch test i stood on something and pulled on a chain. i had to

lift boxes and put them on shelves. he then finally gives me 3 glasses of

water to drink and the remeasues my feet and takes my temp!!! tells me the

water doesn't go under the tongue!!! i asked him if anyone would come examine

me later when i couldn't move and was crying. he said they know you

diagnosis. all we can do is take the pictures. so i said oh, kinda like you

take you car into the shop because it makes a noise and it's ok then. i said

yes i did this once or 11 times with the boxes, but that doesn't mean i could

do that 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. of coarse now my temp is spiking and my

feet are sore and numb, but that doesn't matter to them. kathy in il

Kathi, it just proves one more time that most people don't have a

clue and don't really care. That is depressing.

Hope you don't suffer from the tests for to long.

thanks. i was stiff and sore this morning and my foot is all swollen and

sore. not sure if it's these cheap shoes i bought or what. i pulled my shoe

off in aldi today. just felt like my orthodics were just digging in. running

99.4, same as last night. it was a beautiful day here in chicagoland and i

just endured the pain and did what i wanted. kathy in il

My mother just got me a pair of 's double strap sandals. I love them.

They adjust in just the right places and the sole and inside of the straps is

made of a material that is extremely soft and comfortable. I highly

reccommend them.
