Guest guest
Hi : I live in Round Rock (southeastern corner) and have a 6-year-old son with autism that attends the " STM " classroom at Gattis Elementary. I also happen to work in the PPCD classroom at Teravista Elementary. From what I know, all the PPCD programs within RRISD use the " STAR " program, so it shouldn't matter which school your daughter goes to. Here is the info on the STAR program: http://www.starautismprogram.com/ Unfortunately, our family just moved to Round Rock ourselves, so I don't know either a pediatric allergist nor a pediatric dentist. However, there are two Austin-only autism groups I'm a member of. You might want to join them because they are likely to have more Austin-specific information than this group might. They are: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/AustinAutismSupport/ and http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/AutismSocietyAustin/ - > > Hi. Guest guest
Hi there, Can't help you with the RRISD thing, but we have a fabulous dentist in Cedar Partk who is amazing with special needs kids Dr. Bert Vasut @ 258-8888. Also, I have an allergist who is great, but she is not a " pediatric " allergist. She and her partner who is also great have offices in Cedar Park and Westlake. You could possibly call and get a referral though Dr. Stierman @ 328-7722. Good Luck, Yianna Ray > > Hi.
