Guest guest
So... I should probably resist my nephrologist's suggestion that I try clonidine during the weeks leading up to my AVS? My BP is averaging higher than ever (high 150s/low 100s) and it's kind of freaking me out. (You may recall my average was 142/92 for months, then I started spiro and BP went up, and now I'm off spiro yet the BP is still high.) The nephro told me that I could take clonidine or verapamil and still have my AVS repeated. But at the same time he pretty strongly suggested that it's best that I be off all meds. And chances are neither one would work for my HTN anyway. So... I'll probably pass on the clonidine --msmith1928 Nulliparous female, 46, 5'3 " , 120 lbs, polymenorrhea, hyperinsulinemia, hereditary fructose intolerance, lactose intolerance, probable gluten intolerance.
