Guest guest
Hi , No, you don't need insurance. They for the Remicade for a full year. You do have to have been on Methotrexate for at least 3 months, though. This is the trial info: Physicians with Florida Medical Research Institute are conducting a clinical research study of a marketed medication for the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis. If you have Rheumatoid Arthritis, you may qualify to participate in this clinical research study. To qualify, you must: * Be diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis for at least 3 months * Be taking Methotrexate for at least 3 months * Have no prior treatment with Remicade * Be at least 18 years of age Qualified participants will receive all study-related care at no charge, including physical exams, lab tests & study medication. Contact: Nikki Kosch or Sandy Hooker, Study Coordinators Florida Medical Research Institute, PA 222 SW 36th Terrace, Suite B Gainesville, FL 32607 Telephone: 352-377-4788 Fax: 352-372-2814 Email: research@... They are really nice people. The study papers I signed today said that the trial is for 200 people (nationwide, I guess). So, if you're interested and qualify, I would give them a call soon. The only drawback is the drive to Gainesville and back, but compared to the cost of Remicade, it's a bargain. Love and hugs, Carol [ ] remicade study in gainesville Hi CArol, do you have to have insurance to be in the Remicade study?
