Guest guest
Are you talking about Mycelex Troches? Those are the lozenges that my RD prescribes and they are way better than the mouthwash for my thrush. Haven't had it in a while, but when I do, I'll be getting Mycelex again. I used an antifungal mouth wash which didn't work for me but my GP prescribed some antifungal lozenges and I find them excellent. Problem is I can't remember the name. It finally went away for a couple of weeks and is just now coming back, not so bad and just in my mouth. I will be going to the GP next week and getting the lozenges again so I will post the name of them. But yea, the thrush goes whilst taking the lozenges and it always comes back a few days after I finish the bottle. This last couple of weeks is the longest I have gone without it and now it is coming back AGAIN! And food and smokes just aren't the same with thrush! Take care, Libby. :-)
Guest guest
That doesn't ring a bell, but maybe it is, but a generic name or something. I will post it when I get them next week - sorry, I have not a very good memory for drugs - way too many of them!! Take care, Libby. :-) Where do you live? What time is it where you are? > Hi Mandy, I also have had thrush in my mouth and throat quite bad, > probably for 3 months now. My rheumy told me it was from the > prendisone.
