Are you talking about Mycelex Troches? Those are the lozenges that my RD

prescribes and they are way better than the mouthwash for my thrush. Haven't

had it in a while, but when I do, I'll be getting Mycelex again.

Hi Mandy, I also have had thrush in my mouth and throat quite bad,

probably for 3 months now. My rheumy told me it was from the

prendisone. I used an antifungal mouth wash which didn't work for me

but my GP prescribed some antifungal lozenges and I find them

excellent. Problem is I can't remember the name. It finally went away

for a couple of weeks and is just now coming back, not so bad and just

in my mouth. I will be going to the GP next week and getting the

lozenges again so I will post the name of them. But yea, the thrush

goes whilst taking the lozenges and it always comes back a few days

after I finish the bottle. This last couple of weeks is the longest I

have gone without it and now it is coming back AGAIN! And food and

smokes just aren't the same with thrush! Take care, Libby. :-)

That doesn't ring a bell, but maybe it is, but a generic name or

something. I will post it when I get them next week - sorry, I have

not a very good memory for drugs - way too many of them!! Take care,

Libby. :-) Where do you live? What time is it where you are?
