Dear Tess, I have read books about how artistic people

feel, painters, musicans, writers, etc; they are all

afraid that they will be found to be a fraud. I think

that when you use a talent it is like a birthing of a

small part of your soul and when the birthing pains

are over, you love the baby. Once you start you

become more confident; it's the starting that is so

hard. So bite the bullet and write! If you write,

I'll paint. I know deep inside we are not frauds but

we are afraid anyway. Talk to you later. Iris

Dearest Iris...boy, you've really given me something to think about!

Golly...that is such a lovely & profound way of looking at the whole

process. Thank you for sharing with me. I remember telling someone,

quite awhile back, that I thought my music/singing were locked deep

inside now. She asked why I wouldn't/coudn't let them out. I said that

there would at least be some part of me that wouldn't be molested (sorry

to even say that word) That statement even surprised me when I said it.

I know it applies to my writing/speaking, too.
