Guest guest
We have a star amongst us!!! Way to cool Tess. I just love gospel singers. AND a public speaker. Although the subject is sad, the strength and courage to speak of such things is admirable. I¹m sure you helped many. Glad memory lane is cheering you up I¹m going to see Aerosmith! I haven¹t been to A concert in many years mainly because I¹m afraid of getting trampled. But I got wheelchair seating so I hope it¹s safe. Hope you have a painfree weekend. Guest guest
I'll say that's cool! Way to go, Tess! You are a very strong, interesting person. Maybe you and a can sing a duet at an RA-Support gathering in the future. Have a great time at the concert, a! I've had a hand in convincing my teenage musician that Aerosmith should be listened to and learned from. His band now knows a song or two or theirs. A couple of my Aerosmith CDs are missing, too. Oh, well. Re: [ ] Iris - groovy girl We have a star amongst us!!! Way to cool Tess. I just love gospel singers. AND a public speaker. Guest guest
Hey alright a - Aerosmith - They are definitely worth seeing. What a set of pipes Tyler has. I hope you have a great time. Let us know. Sometimes, I forget that I need to do these things to feed my soul to remember when times are a little rough. Dear Tess, You must have seen Seals & Crofts on the same tour as I did. They were in the student union after concert speaking with the students. There was only about 30 of us. What happened to them? When Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young were here a year or so ago. I forced my husband to go. He never really thought much about them but was blown away by the harmonies. What about Righteous Bros.? Great harmony. One of the best concerts I ever went to was Dan Fogelberg in the Musical Hall in Houston which is very intimate with wonderful accoustics. It was just he and the piano and guitar. For me it is always better when I am surrounded by the music and feel a part of it. Tess, you have lived such an interesting life. It is amazing the number of times you have been there during culturally historic events. Have you ever felt as though you keep brushing by what you are supposed to be there for? I love gospel music because you feel it. My fathers' family had a traveling gospel group. He sang such beautiful harmonies and when I am in church and am singing one of his favorites, it always brings tears of happy remembrance to my eyes. Tess, don't feel bad about being blue, it is something you have to feel to get to the good part. We are here with you. Sometimes I think I am weak and shouldn't allow myself these feelings but then I decide yes, I will, but only for a little while. But, it always seems to come back and then I try to bid it goodbye again. It has been really nice to have you guys to talk to. Take care and send more stories. Smile. Guest guest
Ah , smart mom you are. Aerosmith is definitely up there in the have to learn category. So glad he¹s learning good music. The only CD¹s of mine that my teenage son borrows is Pink Floyd. Rest up that throat Tess. We¹ll do a song entitled ³Invisible Diseases². I think many people here would be able to relate to that song. , your son can accompany us There¹s another singer here, but fibro fog won¹t let me remember who it is. a > I'll say that's cool!
