Hi Friends. I had another really bad night last night. I'm flaring so bad

I'm going to go back to bed for awhile and ice my hips. Anyway, my husband

and I were talking and he wants me to go to my MD today and ask for

something to help with the sleep. We never sleep in the same room lately

because I can't sleep, and when I do I toss and turn. He knows I'm

suffering, and thinks the less sleep I get the more I hurt (which is

somewhat true).

I've had a lot of depression, and I'd like to try Trazodone or Flexeril to

help with my sleep. I want to ask for a prescription of 4 or 5 Sonata or

Ambien, though, in case I have a bad night. I don't want to take those

meds, but I'm fearful that the study for the Remicade won't let me start on

Trazodone without waiting another month (which I don't want to do). She

told me that I have to call her before taking any new RA meds, but that

regular meds were fine. What category do these meds fall under? I called

her, but she's not in. My appt with my Dr. is at 4PM.

Anyone who's had experience with any of these meds, could you please share?

I'm frightened to take one, but I know my quality of life is going downhill

fast. Maybe the Trazodone or Flexeril would help with that.

Oh, I'm feeling so lousy that we're rescheduling my family's trip here for

Aug 8th. Stan suggested it because it would give me a Remicade infusion,

and hopefully I'll be feeling better by then.

As always, thanks!

Hugs,

Carol
