I hope you get your sleep problem solved very soon. I think good quality

sleep is so important to one's health. What medication did they give

you, may I ask?

It's great that your daughter has this new opportunity. I'm sure you

both will have a lot of adjusting to do, but it sounds like a great

idea.

> It's been awhile since I posted so I thought I would update you on how

things are going.

> Things are very busy here. I have recently been going to a sleep

clinic to try and get my sleeping pattern together. I have suffered

from insomnia for years. We are trying a new medication and it is

helping a lot. The other thing is that if I'm not asleep within 15

minutes, I'm to get up out of bed. Obviously I'm not asleep right now

so I'm up on the computer.

> Today, Monday, my youngest daughter (who is also disabled) is moving

into her own house that she will share with three other people. Her

staff who has been with her for eight years will be changing programs

and will be one of the staff at the house also. This is really going to

be different for me - I have not been without children in my home for 23

years - this will really be strange for me. I'm really happy for my

daughter - she is really excited about moving out. Over the weekend, we

got most of her stuff moved. Her dad is out of town, but my husband

(who treats her like his own) and I got most of it done. In a few hours

I can take her to her new place.

> Through it all, my RA has been acting up a bit. My fingers are

swollen as well as very stiff and sore. Hips and shoulders are also

affected. The heat we are dealing with also doesn't help matters any.

But overall, things are going well.
