Thanks for the reminder! I bought one of those small ones a long time ago

and totally forgot all about the damn thing! Maybe now it will come out of

the package & get used for that very reason!

Hi Patty.

I also think of the 1st conference and our hunt for meds and coins at the

hotel. That was a lot of fun. I can't believe I haven't made it back to another.

My mom's best friend is going with me to my obgyn this wednesday as we discuss

a hystercotomy. I am so grateful. I really hate going to doc appt's alone. I

will also have a recorder. I don't want to miss a thing.

I haven''t seen any emails from Louise Darlington. Do you know her

whereabouts??

XOXO

You just brought up the best point! A tape recorder is what was spoken about at

our conference this year. I have one and our other family members are unable to

attend our mother's doctor appointments with her so we are going to tape the

visit so they know what is going on. The speaker says 4 ears are better than 2

and and I have found that 6 are even better than 4! phine didn't even

hear her doctor tell her she had glaucoma and to come back in four months last

year! And that was very dangerous but treatable with medication. So yes! Even if

you have someone with you a tape recorder is a good idea and most doctors will

not object if you ask them first and tell them it's just for your or family

reference later on.

Thank you,

The memory just isn't what it once was. I need to buy a recorder to take with me

to doctor offices so I can remember everything said.

Thanks again.
