Some Sunday Afternoon...........

It's nearly 3 in the afternoon and I had hoped to get away for the 4 hour drive

home much before this, however, my daughter left about 5 hours ago to take care

of some things and isn't back yet. She called a little while ago and will be

here hopefully in about another hour. I have spent the time resting and even

had a little 45 minute catnap. The drive will be easier having rested. I also

took time to go through the saved postings from everyone and have a wealth of

information to talk to the doctor about on Tuesday. a, the one you just

posted on fibromyalgia, is a perfect description of how I feel most of the time.

There are several RA pages that have infomation that will help me talk to the

doctor intelligently(I hope)since all previous attempts over the years have

resulted in a " lose weight - all in my head " lecture. I had many of these

symptoms many years before the weight became an issuse.

Tess: I hope all the pain you are feeling is relieved by the time you wake up

on your birthday. The only thing that I can imagine being worse than

debilitating pain(and I've been there)is to be forgotten on your birthday. I

wish you cool breezes, warm friends and family, and happiness on your birthday.

I feel strange this being Sunday as I am usually in church on Sundays(I am in

the sunday school primary)and drqw quite a bit of strength from being in the

Lord's house. I have missed two now from being out of town. Hopefully, my life

will settle down now.

Deb - welcome to our family. I hope you will find what you need in this group.

Everyone is so loving and understanding. a and work hard as our

moderators to keep us informed and to be there when needed. My thanks go out to

them and all the other wonderful ladies in our group(are there any men other

than husbands? I don't believe I've seen any).
