Guest guest
I just attended the USAAA conference and LUPRON was NOT the big announcement. The big announcement is that a new medical board is in existance. This is very good news for our community. We will now have a place to go to find doctors well trained in autism biomedical treaments. This will provide a standard of treatment to help up sort through the snake oil. I hope this helps us, I was excited to hear the news. Guest guest
I don't think it will be a physical place, but rather a website database so parents can find board certified autism docs. As soon as I have more info I'll post. Regarding info at USAAA, nothing new as treatments go. However strong emphasis on many improving dramatically following protocols. Neubrander and others having good success rates using Methyl B 12, diet, Hbot, supplements, chelation protocols. The key being following protocol and specific sequence. Hbot was big and more studies indicating that for many this is an important tool to reduce inflammation. 60-90 minutes @1.3 daily getting good results. Most see results in 40 dives. Important to do at least 5 a week. Some docs have more aggressive protocol using Hbot, but must be supervised. However some don't see results until more than 40 dives. As with all lots of variability, but overall looks like a good intevention for our kids. Methyl B 12 shots generally see results in 5 week trial. Care Clinics may be another place for many of our kids. They are located in Austin. > > > Subject: big announcement > To: Texas-Autism-Advocacy > Date: Sunday, September 7, 2008, 10:04 PM > > > > > > > I just attended the USAAA conference and LUPRON was NOT the big > announcement.
