Guest guest
I think Sandor Katz also talked about Rejuvalac in " Wild Fermentation. " I've never made it, but it sounds interesting, kind of like a very primitive form of beer.-Bill Has anyone had any experience with Rejuvalac? This is a wheat based fermented product that looks to me like a WAP type food. I looked for the book and the authors name Donna Gates on the WAP web site. There is no book review, but she might have been a speaker at the 2004 convention. At a minimum, there should be a book review done. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Guest guest
I’ve been making and drinking rejuvilac on and off for 30 years. Great stuff with lots of friendly bacteria for increased intestinal health. It’s originally from Victoras Kulvinskas and Ann Wigmore….waaaaay back in the 60’s and 70’s. I spend a couple of months at their Hippocrates Health Institute in Lemon Grove back in ’83. Most informative two months I’ve ever spent. I still have their big yellow book and refer to it often, it’s written in the old 60’s way with handwriting and lots of b & w illustrations in the ‘hippy’ way. Video of Ann Wigmore herself making rejuvilac: http://chidiet.com/blog/ann-wigmore/dr-ann-wigmore-shows-how-to-make-rejuvelac.htm Written directions: http://www.rejoiceinlife.com/recipes/rejuvelac.php Read about Dr Weston A Price and his groundbreaking book: Nutrition and Physical Degeneration.
