Guest guest
Ali, I don't know if a roll-a-bout will work for you, but I had two ankle surgeries last year and I couldn't use crutches. My other leg has had many surgeries, I also have bad wrists, and I just couldn't use crutches. My ankle doc hooked me up with a Roll A Bout. I loved it. Everywhere I went people were gawking or just coming up and asking what it was or telling me how great of an idea it was! When we went to walmart, I could go faster than my husband and didn't even have to use those scooters I hate. Anyway, if you havent seen it, it is a platform that you stand and use. It has four wheels and a hand brake. I threatened to put a chainsaw motor on it, but wound up just tying it to the back of my husband's scooter. My doc and phys therapist have these photos on their desks! (I just posed for pics, I didn't really go down the road like that lol) Hard to describe, but they do have a website so you can see what it is. www.roll-a-bout.com. Good luck with the foot! Guest guest
I loved the Roll A Bout, Ali. I think it was leased by Medicare, so I didn't get to keep it. You can bet I will get another one when I have the other ankle fixed! Hope you are getting around better now. Stay Healthy
