Guest guest
Al, Sounds good to me! A few friends is all your Mom needs! Who is bringing the ouzo (sp)? I remember the first time that I had that, I thought I had burned my throat and innards for life! But after the first one, the rest were easy! Does make you feel all warm on a cold winter's night in Chicago. Hope you have a nice weekend, the weather up there seems to have cooled off for a few days! We should see cool weather here in about December or January. Gentle, tender, angel hugs, Debs in FL

Guest guest
Hi Kathi...I used to have a friend who liked to introduce me to different foods (as if I need help!) Anyway, she took me to a well known Greek restaurant and ordered a bottle of something she told me tasted like pine needles! Well, the look on my face wasn't exactly Yippeee, but I tried a sip. She had the rest. She also got us calamari, spanokopita & other things I have no idea how to spell! It was fun. So they really make that from pine needles??? Years ago when I did drink alcohol it always had to be hidden...you know like Singapore Slings...tastes like yummy fruit punch with a little kick, then WHAMMOOOO! Love & Hugs... Guest guest
Wow, OK Kathi, You are a very well traveled lady! This is a very interesting group. The Isle of Crete, huh? I guess I just must live vicariously thru my friends! LOL! Actually, I better watch my Greek food intake until my tummy gets back to " normal " ! As you can see, Aunt Blabbie's tummy is feeling better, just a little sore, like bruised. I guess it will take something tougher to knock me out! Just chillin out and not putting too much into the ol' tummy except the belladonna. Hey, whatever works! I am just happy to be back amongst friends. Guest guest
OK Ms OK, Now I am really impressed. Now I have to really live my traveling dreams thru you. My spouse just informed tonight that we have to stay put on this peninsula because that is where his job is and he ain't leaving for nothing! So there you have it! I was watching one of the shopping channels and they had fall fashions on and I said gee, it would be nice to live somewhere that gets just a little cool for longer than 30 seconds that it takes a cool front to come in to Florida. So this old girl, ain't goin nowhere! I will just have to wait to get postcards from my interesting friends! LOL. Well, my daughter just put in the movie Doc Hollywood (great, another doctor!) so that will be our movie of the night. Gee, what a young J Fox. Maybe this movie isn't so bad after all! Have a good evening! Debs
