Guest guest
Hi Tess, Being cynical isn't a bad thing. I have the same feelings sometimes. In fact, I need to talk to my rheumy today about my new symptoms. Just adding to the stew. LOL! Maybe you should ask your rheumy if he knows about Still's. The fever and rash are major symptoms. Not that the treatment would be much different. Generally I take steroids and some antibiotic like Augmentin. I hope that you are having as much of a pain free day as possible. Take care Tess. Guest guest
Hi Barb, I was starting to get that impression although I figured cabana girls would be more tame than the rowdy, partying bunch here. LOL Al in IL > Al, > Now that you've been writing to this group for awhile, I'm suprised that > you haven't figured out that all of us girls here are the ORIGINAL cabana > girls. Guest guest
Hi again, Still waiting for the majority of the results. My calcium is back to normal although my PCP never explained why it was elevated to begin with I hope to hear something today about the others and will post the results when I get them. The shortness of breath is still an off and on thing. The Advair is working though and I feel better than I did last week. The cool weather we are having in the Chicago area sure helps too. Thanks for asking. I appreciate it. Hugs, Al (aka Alan) in IL
Guest guest
Cool air, I'm so jealous!!! I'm glad the Advair is working for you. I'll be watching for your results. About the antidepressants, it IS hard to ask for help. I've really been in a " blue period " the past few months from dealing with the pain, and I'm glad to have an option that is mild but might help a little. I think the lack of sleep and depression might go hand in hand. I would never have spoken to the Dr. about it if my husband hadn't insisted. I was in a bad way from the lack of sleep. Thanks for the well wishes regarding my Remicade success. I'm doing all kinds of housecleaning today, and still little or no pain! I will be careful not to overdo it, though. I have my family coming in from out of town, and my husband is leaving town, so there's a lot to get done. I'm taking him to the airport and picking them up, in one trip. I'm really excited to have my Mom and brother visiting. I miss them so much. I hope you have a pain free day, my friend. Guest guest
Hi Ethel, Well, it only took all summer to have a day in the low 70's. My lawn looks like death valley. It's funny that you mention your husband being the one to speak up, because my wife told me yesterday that she wants to come to my appointment next week. Perhaps she wants to make sure I say something about it. Yes, it is so great that the Remicade is doing well for you. I am glad you will get to see everyone while you are feeling good. I will continue to send healthy thoughts your way. You have a great day. Hugs, Al in IL
