I am sorry you are going through all of this. I will tell you that after getting

Still's that I had some of the same problems with my throat. It was

horrible!!!!!  I did end up going to an ENT.  You are right aobut it being a

very different pain.  I had to go ahead and get my tonsils out. It took me a

while to recover. They did give me liquid pain medication so that made it

easier.  I will tell you that if you go through that that it DOES hurt.  I under

estimated how much it would hurt.  My throat pain is MUCH better now days.  I

still get some of the same funky sore throats but they are 75% less severe.  I

wanted to share my experience with you and tell you that even though it was hard

to go through, it was worth it.
