Guest guest
Just by being you, Tess, you do so much for me. I am so fortunate to have a friend like you. Unfortunately, in this situation, there are no easy, simple answers. Just listening is more than I can ever hope for. There is an answer out there and it will just take a little time to figure out which avenue to go down. So, unfortunately, you may see this topic line for a few more days. Please indulge me!!! How is your presentation for the gastric bypass surgery going? I don't mean to come on to bossy, but I had to read the letters of request and what the psych evals would write in their request. If it is God's will, he will show the way. In the meantime, though, prayers from us here on earth certainly can't hurt! Love and Hugs, sweetie. Sleep well! ((((((((((((((((((((((((Tess)))))))))))))))))))))))))) Hope I didn't squeeze too tight! Good night, Deb

Guest guest
Deb, What makes you think that going to another ortho will mean a 6 month wait for anything to be done? When I had a botched knee surgery, I switch ortho¹s and was scheduled for surgery at the first appointment. Deb you can¹t ignore this. Hearing the grinding means there may be particles floating around in there. You could do serious damage to your knee replacement. I know you don¹t want to go back to square one, but this doctor keep dragging everything out. He¹s allowed you to suffer for all these months. I¹m sorry about Ron¹s parents. That has to be difficult. I hope he can get in touch with them and all is well. Try to get some sleep please Deb. You can¹t think straight when you are so sleep deprived. Guest guest
I'm going to be unquiet and ask the same question as a. Why would a new ortho have to wait six months before he can help you, Debs? This is an emergency. The fact that your current ortho guy has performed so many surgeries on your same knee and is satisfied with letting the problem go for so long without any real resolution is a very bad sign. Don't look at seeking someone else's help as going back to square one, see it as a chance to get your knee back and feel better.
